By chance I came across a new book in my local bookstore titled "NASA:The complete illustrated history" (Michael H. Gorn). Unfortunately, it was sealed in cellophane, so I couldn't browse! Has anyone purchased and/or read this book yet? If so, is it a worthwhile addition to a Space library, or is it a rehash of old spaceflight photos?

Finally, I got a chance to look at the book today. Personally, I was somewhat disappointed as I prefer a solid and very comprehensive focus on spaceflight 1958 forward. The coverage (in terms of pages) of events prior to that time was (IMO) overkill. It's certainly well priced (AUD $70 or around 50 US) for a hardback and populated with photography familiar to us all. Some will go nuts over it ... just not me.
