I noticed an article in the magazine from UK Sunday newspaper Mail on Sunday that there are 2 films being planned about Yuri Gagarin.

Could be something to look forward to

Cheers

Does it say if they are documentaries, or actors playing him in a movie-like scenario?

Thanks,

Francis.

The article from the Mail on Sunday magazine is as follows

Quote'With the big screen biopic suddenly big business again,Sir Alan Parker appears to be closer to dragging his long planned project about soviet cosmonaut Yuri Gagarin onto the launch pad.In 1961 Gagarin became the first person in space, and his mysterious death in 1968 sent cosnpiracy theorists into a frenzy. Parker had a script, but put the project on the backburner when he became a father again.
Other producers are believed to be orbiting projects about the cosmonaut, and Warner Brothers also recently sent scouts to the Baikonur cosmodrome launch site in Kazakhstan and the Star City training facility near Moscow.'Unquote
