From Boggs Spacebooks:

We are delighted to offer the first in a series of special, high quality reprints of vintage NASA Project Apollo working documents. Many of you know that these originals are scarce to rare and command hundreds of dollars at auctions or bookstores if they can be found at all. Although a number of the Apollo documents can be found online in PDF formats, many have been scanned with less than desirable reproductions. We have gone to significant effort to maintain the original quality in our reprints.

The originals we are using were engineers' and astronauts' working copies, so some pages may have some handwritten notes which we feel may actually increase the interest of the reader. These handwritten notes often make the text and illustrations easier to understand.

This first volume in our series is the "Lunar Module Orientation Study Guide". This was printed for internal use in January 1969 by the LM Instructor Group and was designed to emphasize Lunar Module Subsystems. Since it is entirely drawings and schematics, it was used in a class setting to augment lectures.

Contents:

Chapters on structures, propulsion and RCS, explosive devices, the following subsystems: environmental control, electrical power, guidance, navigation, control, instrumentation, communications; as well as highlights of the lunar module utilization—the lunar landing mission.

There are full page illustrations, drawings and schematics for a variety of the LM subsystems. It is a fascinating volume and rare. You can view some sample pages from the book and preorder ($25 in three ring binder) this online at http://boggsspace.com

Even if you are not interested in owning a copy, you may wish to take the time to examine some of the sample pages. It is quite the volume.
