This is a project which has been in development for over 18months. It is a vision of how spaceflight would have been had Werner von Brauns's vision been seen through from start to finish (in a nutshell anyway).Check out the website, as it looks amazing. Cheers, Dwight |

Much longer than 18 months, actually - I'm a Mission Controller in a scene that was shot one day about three years ago, and it was in development well before then. |

The trailer is superb everything is based on Dr von Braun's vision with illustrations by Bonestell ... One of the astronauts to Mars is named John Young , the other one is Fred Haise ... Great work though ! http://users.bigpond.net.au/surfacesrendered/MCSEnter.html

For anyone who might be interested, I just finished putting together a small web site on Chesley Bonestell containing photographs and publication information of the 12 books he actively worked on in his lifetime. The early ones, of course, are the ones that set forth von Braun's blueprint for exploring space. Sad to say, the way we went to the Moon was the exact opposite of von Braun's proposals. If we had followed his plan, we might still be there. Ed http://home.comcast.net/~4tr/wsb/html/view.cgi-home.html-.html |

I have never heard of this movie. Is it going to play nationally, on tv, or only the internet? |

I would strongly urge anyone interested to contact the makers via their website. As far as I can gather, they are looking for a sponsor to help with the release. As to what, where and when, I do not know. |
