albatron Member Posts: 2804 From: Stuart, Florida Registered: Jun 2000	posted 11-10-2014 08:44 PM I recently (2014) sent a couple of covers to Apollo flight director Milton Windler asking him to sign, and had them returned unsigned. Has anyone else had any sort of interaction with him?
mjanovec Member Posts: 3811 From: Midwest, USA Registered: Jul 2005	posted 11-10-2014 10:03 PM I recently received a signed photo from him after an eight year wait... definitely the longest I've waited for a response from anyone (not counting the ones I'm still waiting for, of course). But I'm grateful nevertheless that he signed it for me. It was a pleasant surprise to see it in the mailbox.

Sometimes he responds, sometimes not at all (not even returning the items sent). What does "a couple of covers" mean? Five? Ten? Sending multiple items does of course reduce your chance of getting a favourable reply.
