I'd be interested to see opinions on what the top ten signed shuttle crew lithos (or glossies) are, in terms of value? I'd say in terms of scarcity but not sure whether that's always the same thing.Clearly 51-L and STS-107 would top all lists -- but what would the remaining eight flights be? |

That's a terrific question... and I'll be keen to see what others have in mind.My remaining eight would be as follows; 3. STS-71 4. STS-61A 5. STS-105 6. STS-51F 7. STS-44 8, 9, 10. Take your pick from STS-1, 9, 51B or other missions that included any of the 51L or 107 crews. Mike |

I would have to go with the following (besides STS-51L and STS-107): - STS-95 (John Glenn's return to flight with some tough signers)
- STS-121 (Recent auction sold it for a high price, possibly because of Nowak)
- STS-1 (First Space Shuttle mission)
- STS-73 (I have heard this is a tough mission to obtain)
- STS-31 (Hubble launch)
- STS-90 (I found this one rather diffcult to obtain)
Those are the ones I think are hard to obtain (well, they were hard for me! I still don't have all of those). To be honest, almost all STS crews are hard to obtain! -R |

Would it also depend on what moment in time one is obtaining the crew-signed item? For STS-90, I have most of a litho completed, in-person, missing only Hire and Linnehan. |

I've been collecting Space Shuttle crew signed lithos (and covers) since Day One (STS-1) and this is my list of the eight rarest crew signed lithos after STS-51L and STS-107, and is in no particular order:STS-9 STS-51C STS-71 (all ten crew members) STS-102 (all ten) STS-105 (all ten) STS-121 and for the last two, take your choice from STS-78, STS-81, STS-91, STS-95 and STS-123. Certainly a number of others can be considered. And collectors should be careful of an autopen or 2 mixed in with other authentic autographs. Probably 1/2 of all the STS-41C crew signed lithos I've seen have Terry J. Hart autopens with the other autographs genuine. Also STS-41D with Charlie Walker autopens, etc. Bob Mc.
