I was pleased to find a personalised NASA photo from Micheal Foale in the post. It made my day. |

Congratulations. I sent five or so letters away around the end of May (2004) and I have only received one back. Does anyone else find that the time just takes so long when crossing the Atlantic. How long did it take David? |

I think I only wrote between six and eight weeks ago. I wrote to other NASA astronauts at the same time and have received four replies in the last week. |

Does anyone have experience with Michael Foale signing "Waystation to the Stars" through the mail? Of course using return postage and shipping material. |

Anyone had a success through the mail with Michael Foale recently? I have a photo of the seven Mir astronauts that has already been signed by Linenger and Blaha, and I'm just wondering if I should take a chance on Foale. |

I prefer a more personal approach. Writing, i.e. a letter with the request. From my perspective, it's more polite form. He never disappointed me. The application to join finance., or stamps on the reverse response also obedience. I am a collector who does not collect quantity but quality. Quality is my standard collection. For this reason, if you manage to get an autograph, then you already ask. For the purpose of the collection is sufficient. It depends on the kindness of every astronaut to contribute and how it responds to the request. In the case of Mr Foale well. One application, meet me on two times, signed lithograph. Here you can see. |

We remarked how nice it was for the Astronaut Hall of Fame inductees, Michael Foale (and Ellen Ochoa) to sign on Saturday (May 20, 2017) at the Kennedy Space Center Visitor Complex. As part of the second signing, Foale and Brian Duffy weren't personalizing and they limited it to two items per person per astronaut, although one could queue again and try for another two items.Foale recognized both my Mir photo as well as the EVA photo as coming from STS-63. Wonderful man, very personable. |

Just curious, has anyone had any luck getting Michael Foale to sign items through the mail? I was planning to use the address for Foale Aerospace, Inc. Thanks!Editor's note: Threads merged. |
