My favorite photo is the one taken in the LM after his moonwalk. There aren't many photos of him smiling and this one is ear-to-ear. It's a great shot. I wish all the moonwalkers had a post-moonwalk portrait done after taking their helmet off (like the A17 guys, too).

I think I would choose the interior LM one to get signed, also - though my favorite Armstrong photo is probably the 1969 Life magazine photo of him with a cigar.

The suit up photo on the morning of the A11 launch (and I'm STILL annoyed it's only in black and white) where he's wearing the snoopy cap and looking past the right hand side of the photographer ..... fantastic close up.

I like the lone picture of Neil Armstrong at the MESA.

What a shot. Neil the Boy Scout has just planted the American flag on the Moon's surface, after Neil the test pilot successfully landed the LM safely on the Moon and humble Neil the engineer hard at work with his back to the camera just taking care of business with his Lunar tools.

Maybe there is more to that photo than just Buzz accidentally picking up his image in a pan.

Kind Regards

Douglas Henry

Enjoy yourself and have fun.... it is only a hobby!

I have to second the post-moonwalk photo of Neil grinning. I always thought that would make an incredible signed 16x20

For me I'd like to have the shot of Neil and Buzz putting up the flag. This was the still taken from the movie camera mounted inside the LM. I see this image everyday in my space room. It's a constant reminder to me of all the amazing things humans are capable of. Even though I've had access to Buzz several times, I just couldn't bring myself to get it half signed.
