I was just on www.thespacestore.com and i came across the below link. Former astronaut Tom Jones(STS 80 +STS 98) will be in the shop on the 27th(36 year aniversary of Apollo 1) to sign copies of his book. If you buy one now it will be signed by him.I think his book is $18.00. I hope this helps. http://www.thespacestore.com/comidguidton.html [This message has been edited by ASCAN1984 (edited January 24, 2003).] |

I help run a small aviation museum in Middle River Md. which is Dr. Jones' hometown. Last November he gave a presentation to our museum members. My son and I had the good fortune of eating crabcakes with Dr. Jones and his Mom. He is a very outgoing and friendly person and much of his personality shows up in his book. He signed my copy at our meeting. He also personalised for my kids some photos taken during his historic ISS construction mission. Now if we can get Bob Curbeam to come and visit us we would have captured all of the Baltimorean astros!Gene DiGennaro The Glenn L. Martin Aviation Museum Middle River, Md. | |
