The New Jersey Aviation Hall of Fame & Museum proudly announces the opening of its brand new International Space Station (ISS) exhibit. It contains a large model of the ISS, actual flown items from New Jersey-born astronaut Mark Kelly, continuous videos showing life on the station and a count up clock showing the exact time that Mark's twin brother Scott Kelly has been on the space station.

Hopefully the members in the New York/New Jersey area will come check it out.

Just had a chance to visit this museum yesterday, and was pleasantly surprised by the number of space items there. Greg Linteris has his own display case away from the other NJ astronauts, and there's a signed X-15 cover (by Joe Engle, among other pilots), a scale model of the Mars Observer spacecraft, and a Pepsi can marked "for astronaut use." One wall is intriguingly marked "Coming soon: Edwin 'Buzz' Aldrin exhibit."

It's smaller than the Cradle of Aviation Museum but well worth the time to visit.

The New Jersey Aviation Hall of Fame is very proud to announce the opening of our International Space Station exhibit. It has models, videos, pictures and two display cases filled with flight articles loaned to us by Mark Kelly. Come check it out.

I visited the Museum the other day and the Kelly artifacts on display are truly amazing. Everything from ear plugs to checklists. If you are in the neighborhood, do try to check it out!

All times are CT (US)
