Question: Is there at Edwards Air Force Base a sort of marking or sign that space shuttle Columbia landed there for the first time? (Like there is at Kennedy Space Center for the last landing of Atlantis.)

No. The lakebed has been resurfaced by Mother Nature over the 30 plus years. Even when Dryden/Armstrong Flight Research Center had tours the public had no access to the lakebed.

All times are CT (US)
