On the Hollywood Walk of Fame, there is a plaque honouring the Apollo 11 crew on the sidewalk right beside the stars of actors James Stewart and Kirk Douglas. That plaque is located on the northeast corner of the intersection at Hollywood and Vine.

There are similar Apollo 11 plaques on the other three corners as well.

Were any of the three astronauts there or was there even a ceremony for this square?

Don't know if any were there for the dedication, but it seems the 'stars' were a Jan. 14, 1993 addition to the Walk of Fame. I couldn't find any pictures, but the same date is mentioned on each crew member's IMDB page.

You can make out some of the 'moon-stars' from above.
