I was wondering if anyone who has visited the Deke Slayton Museum in Sparta, Wisconsin would share their opinions of it?
I just learned of it today from a NASA tweet linking to map of where you can see moon rocks. Thanks in advance!

The website says that the moon rock in the Slayton museum is the only moon rock on display in the state of Wisconsin. Wonder what happened to the Apollo 11 and Apollo 17 lunar sample/rock displays that were provided to each state back in the day.

Both of Wisconsin's goodwill samples are held in the archives of the Wisconsin Historical Museum in Madison.

The Deke Slayton Museum is seeking donations to acquire Slayton's Formula One racing jacket:
We have the amazing opportunity to purchase Deke Slayton's Formula One jacket for the museum, but we need your help! We have Deke's Stinger airplane, the airplane he flew in Formula One races, in our gallery and the jacket would be the perfect compliment. We cannot risk his jacket going anywhere other than here. Please help us bring Deke's jacket home.
Facebook takes care of the donation processing with no fees meaning the museum will receive 100% of your donation. All donations above our goal will be put into an artifact acquisition fund for future use.
