Is it just me, or did they build the U.S. Space & Rocket Center's vertical Saturn V's nozzles bigger than were on the actual F-1 engines? I'd like to see someone's measurement of the mockup to compare it with the actual F-1.

The actual engine's diameter was 12.3 feet (presumably the exterior diameter and not the interior).

I left the museum questioning the size of the mockup due to this. Also, the gimballing of the actual F-1 had to allow for space between nozzles. A significant inaccuracy would be a disappointment to say the least.
