The Smithsonian confirms on Twitter:
Our National Air and Space Museum has been evacuated due to a suspicious package. D.C. Police are on the scene. We will update with more info when available.
The Washington Post reports the package was found in the museum's Time and Navigation gallery.
A description of the package was not available, but [Lelani Woods, a spokeswoman for the Park Police] said it was reported at 12:47 p.m. on Wednesday.

A man was also found unconscious in the museum and was transported to a local hospital, Woods said.

"We are trying to determine if the package and the man are related," Woods said.
