For some reason I have always liked photos where you could see a person in the window of a spacecraft. These two were shot during the first Shuttle-Mir docking flight, STS-71 in 1995. The top photo shows Mir-18 commander Vladimir Dezhurov with a television camera behind a window in the Kvant-2 module of Mir, as he records the approach of Space Shuttle Atlantis. The other photo shows STS-71 commander Hoot Gibson looking at Mir through one of the overhead windows on the shuttle's aft flight deck.
