I remember seeing that during the launch through the ET camera view. Amazing image as always! |

Funny — we were at the Banana Creek viewing site (alongside the Saturn V museum) and I did not notice this effect. So how long did it persist? |

These shockwaves around Mach 1 only persist for an instant or two; usually, there may be just a small instant where it shows the most. |

Superb photograph.
