On March 5, 1968, the members of the Apollo 'E type' mission participated in a crew compartment stowage review at the Grumman plant for LM-4, which they were to fly to a high-elliptical orbit later that year. The vehicle used in the test was LM Test Article 1 (LTA-1), configured to resemble the LM-4 flight vehicle. Shown is LMP Bill Anders getting ready to board the LM.
