Half a century ago this week, the Apollo 11 astronauts participated in a pre-flight press conference in the Crew Reception Area of the Lunar Receiving Laboratory, Building 37, at the Manned Spacecraft Center in Houston. Seated left to right behind the glass partition are Mike Collins, Neil Armstrong and Buzz Aldrin. The news media were separated from the crew by the biological barrier.
