Aleksandr Skvortsov, who logged 546 days in space on three missions to the International Space Station, retired from Roscosmos' cosmonaut corps on April 29, 2022.Skvortsov flew on Soyuz TMA-18 and served on Expedition 23/24 in 2010; Soyuz TMA-12M and Expedition 39/40 in 2014; and Soyuz MS-13 and ISS 60/61 in 2019 to 2020. Alexander Skvortsov is the 105th cosmonaut of the Russian Federation and the 510th of the world. He has three space flights with a total duration of almost 546 days, two spacewalks. During his work on the ISS, he conducted dozens of experiments from various fields of science under the Russian scientific program (medicine, space biology, biotechnology, physical and chemical processes, etc.). He performed work with Russian and foreign cargo ships, maintenance of the ISS onboard systems, onboard photography and video filming, and much more.
