I'm hoping someone here can help me out. I am trying very hard to find out who was seated where at Mission Control for the Mercury to Apollo missions, I don't necessarily mean the trench, more the second and third rows, etc. for each phase of a flight. Please help if you can, it would be very much appreciated! |

I have found this type of information listed in old issues of Space News Roundup. NASA has posted many digitized back issues online, but I do not recall exactly where and how extensive the archive are. Perhaps someone else can provide that info. These assignments were published at random intervals, sometimes a few weeks before launch and sometimes a few months before launch. |

- Apollo 12 was Gerald Griffin
- Apollo 13 was Gene Kranz

Years ago, a member of cS compiled a list of Capcoms from Project Mercury, Gemini, Apollo, Skylab, ASTP and shuttle programs. Since I had the list on my hard drive which crashed last year, I was hoping to find the list again. I believe Michael Cassutt, the author, sent it to me. This was many years ago. I can be emailed with list directly. Thanks for any information. | |
