I'm looking for interviews with Chris Kraft and John Hodge that were evidently part of an early NASA Oral History effort, according to "Suddenly, Tomorrow Came," the book on Johnson Space Center's history.

Robert B. Merrifield did the interview with Kraft on Oct. 5, 1967 and with Hodge on March 15 and 18, 1968. Would anybody around here have access to those transcripts? I've checked the Oral History online archive, and the older interviews are not included.

The JSC History Collection at the University of Houston Clear Lake (UHCL) has transcripts for the Merrifield interviews. Many of the transcripts were heavily edited or summarized in places, rather than being word-for-word. I don't recall that the tapes still existed when I was working there about a decade ago.

UHCL recently transferred much of their collection to NARA (per NARA's demands, not NASA or UHCL's wishes) so I don't know if the transcripts were included. If so, they were hopefully copied or scanned first.

Here's a link for contact info.
