What are the names of the flight crew who flew space shuttle Columbia atop the Shuttle Carrier Aircraft (SCA) after STS-1?

They were Fitz Fulton, Tom McMurtry, Vic Horton and Ray Young. They were pilots at Dryden Flight Research Center at the time.

Do any fellow collectSPACE members know who the pilots were and still are of the Shuttle Carrier Aircraft?

I know that Fitz Fulton, Tom McMurtry, Arda Roy and Charles Justiz have been listed along with Dick Scobee as pilots of the 747's. Are there anymore out there?

I would like to obtain a list of all the pilots that flew the SCAs and which flights they were aboard. Any information from fellow members would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

As noted in a recent NASA release, recent SCA flight crew members have included: Jeff Moultrie of Johnson Space Center's (JSC) Aircraft Operations Directorate; Arthur "Ace" Beall, Henry Taylor (flight engineer); Larry LaRose, Steve Malarchick and Bob Zimmerman (all from JSC); Frank Batteas and Bill Brockett (from Dryden).

Has there been any NASA female pilots and/or flight engineers aboard the SCA during its operations or any of the ferry flights?

Would it be possible for us to get a complete list of all the pilots and flight engineers who flew the SCA?

I have been trying to get a complete list of this for many years.

All times are CT (US)
