Was just wondering are there any retired/active astronauts or any other space workers members of collectSPACE? Also, assuming they are aware of this site, would you think they regularly check collectSPACE for info, enjoyment or just curiosity?

I know Sy Liebergot is a member but that's the only person I know of.

Please do not get me wrong as I have no need or interest to contact any individual but I am just intrigued.

Over the years, I have heard from a number of astronauts, both active and retired, who have shared that they have read the site. Some astronauts submit their own appearance schedule for the Sightings calendar.

There are a few who have registered as members, some who have have posted, mostly not under their own names.

I hear from active and former space program workers on a weekly, if not daily basis, mostly for help assessing the value of their memorabilia. Some have requested help finding former co-workers, while others have contributed obituary notices for the same.

I am always grateful and pleased to hear from those who have or are making space history that they have visited or frequent collectSPACE. I'm very appreciative of the encouragement that a number of them have generously shared.

All times are CT (US)
