A nice surprise to the start of the Radio New Zealand (NZ Public Radio) Summer Season - 10 minutes with Al Bean this morning.

Alan Bean is a former NASA astronaut and currently a painter.

Thanks for the link. Alan is such a classy guy. And those volcanoes he saw while flying over New Zealand are NOT extinct!
