Astronaut Story Musgrave celebrated his 80th birthday this week. Selected as an astronaut in 1967, Dr, Musgrave flew on STS-6 in 1983 and, along with Donald Peterson, performed the first EVA from a shuttle orbiter. He later flew on STS-51-F, 33, 44, 61 and 80. He is the only astronaut to have flown aboard all five shuttle vehicles. Happy birthday Dr. Musgrave with many returns! |
