I was just wondering does anyone know of any astronauts who were members of fraternities or sororities?

I know several, but I have to look. For example Dale Gardner: Phi Eta Sigma, Sigma Tau and Tau Beta Pi.

Many of the above are Honorary fraternites. Did the orginal queston mean Social Greek Fraternities?

Gene Cernan was in one at Purdue but would have to look up.

Tau Beta Pi mentoned above is an Engineering Honorary Fraternity which I'm a proud member of (Missouri Beta-1965). I'm sure that many Astronauts, male and female, are members of this and other honoraries such as Phi Kappa Phi (the poor man's Phi Beta Kappa which I'm pround to be in).

When I met Steve Bowen recently, he is in both of the above plus Sigma Pi Sigma.
