Do you know if there are more recent individual portraits of the following astronauts other than the blue flight suit ones which go back a year or two?
  • Lee Archambault
  • Tony Antonelli
  • Joseph Acaba

Steve... not every astronaut feels it is necessary to have an "updated" portrait taken for each mission they fly. Would be nice if they did.

Of course not. However, most astronauts pass from he blue jumpsuit "rookie" portrait to one in orange spacesuit or EVA suit (as Acaba).

For current missions, they can usually be found on the HSF site, which is where Steve could check.

I can appreciate that astronauts wouldn't have a portrait for each mission. I'm not surprised necessarily that Antonelli, as a first time flyer hasn't had a newer photo than the blue flight suit, but Archambault I find a bit more puzzling.

STS-119 was his second mission and first as CDR. Bearing in mind most of his astronaut group have at least one newer portrait since the blue flight suit I just thought he might have had a 'sitting' for one.

PS. I think this is my 500th post!
