Selected as a NASA astronaut, Buzz earned the privilege to be part of the historic Apollo 11 flight to the moon where he and Neil Armstrong became the first humans to walk on the moon.
Aldrin joins Malcolm Forbes and Robert Wood Johnson II in that category, and joins Bruce Springsteen, Thomas Edison, Albert Einstein, and Yogi Berra, among others as the first class in the NJ Hall of Fame.I wasn't there but I think I saw that Aldrin attended the festivities.
