I saw this today in the Kansas City Star newspaper obituary section, James Lane Porter-worked for North America Aviation, he designed the electrical system for the docking of the Apollo and Lunar Module, also designed the the latch valve and manifold assembly for oxygen masks for airplanes while working at Puritan Equipment. He was 70, lived in Prairie Village, Kansas.
