Greetings all, I'm from Commander Rick Husband's, STS-107, Columbia, hometown and attended the same high school he did and both my parents knew him and worked with him during his engineering and pre-service days. I even have a couple of fresh out of college pictures of Commander Husband with my mother on their work volleyball team. To my point, for those who didn't know, Rick Husband was a very devout, religious man. I have 2 mp3s of him from local church services. One, he is singing (he had an amazing voice, and its a high quality mp3) a religious, touching song, and the other he is giving a sermon about his favorite Proverbs passage, which he commonly adds to his autograph, Proverbs 3:5-6. He talks quite a bit about his service with NASA in this sermon and his thoughts about STS-96. He goes into detail about it and his thoughts during launch and the entire mission. Also quite a bit about his dream of becoming an astronaut and how he became an astronaut. Lots of NASA/Astronaut/Mission info in this sermon from his personal point of view. If anyone would like a copy of these mp3s, e-mail at jm4906@amaonline.com Edited to add, these are totally free and I'll e-mail them. If the sermon file is too big, I'll either host it somewhere for download or would be happy to put it on a cd and mail it to someone. I've already sent 2 out to people. I'm signing off for the rest of the night and will get any other requests out tomorrow morning.Regards, Joel [Edited by Lunatiki (December 19, 2006).]

Thanks to all who have replied so far. I appreciate your interest. To those who have requested the files, I've sent them via e-mail. If you didn't receive them, I guess the file size was too big. I've had a few request for CDs of the mp3s. In the next few days, I'm going to burn them to CDs and will be mailing them out. If you were unable to receive them through e-mail, just e-mail me back a shipping address, and I will have them in the mail shortly after Christmas. No worries about postage, I'm more than happy to do this.Regards, Joel jm4906@amaonline.com | |
