Sy, I've had your book in my 'to read' pile for about a year; and finally got to it. Finished last night and spent this evening going through the CD. It's a wonderful time capsule- a fun read- and fascinating study especially for EPS guys such as I. (submersibles- not spacecraft- though I did begin my career as a wire-jockey for Skylab stuff at the Cape) You did a great job of putting in enough technical detail to make the story complete without overwhelming the non-tech readers. Your personal story rang true too. You've got about 15 years on me but a few points in our backgronds are similar- like North Philly, for one. So- just wanted to say thanks for putting your journey in print!
(oh- for those wondering what "TSL" means- the answer is on page 197 of Sy's book

Thanks for the kind and insightful words, SC. I'm happy that you derived much what I had intended in my autobio. Hope to see you at the San Antonio do. TSL
