Hello,just for interest... I would like to know, when Edward White´s parents died. My old friend has interesting letter from them. Thanks for response. |

Ed White's father, Edward White Sr. died Nov. 1, 1978 and is buried at United States Military Academy Post Cemetery at West Point NY, the same cemetery where Ed White II is buried.The mothers name is Patricia Eileen White but I have no information of her. Man, that's even got ME confused!  Ed White Sr. was the son of Alexander and Cecilia Higgins White. Ed White II (the astronaut) was the son of Ed Sr. and Mary (nee Haller) Eddie White III is the son of Ed White II and Patricia (nee Finegan) Colin |

If Ed White II (the astronaut) father is Ed Sr. shouldnt the astronaut be Ed Jr. and not the II?Where is the Jr. in this family?
