Novaspace Galleries' Astronaut Central has announced that former space shuttle commander Eileen Collins will soon take part in a private signing.
Our next private signing will be with Eileen Collins sometime in midsummer (we're still negotiating the date).

Eileen was the first female to command a space shuttle mission. She was at Spacefest last month, but only too briefly. We will send official announcements when we know the date.

Col. Eileen Collins will be at Astronaut Central for a private signing in late July.

She was at Spacefest, and was a VERY popular figure. You should get her autograph now, because prices will likely go up.

Send in your own item, or purchase from us here. Order form, rules and fees download here.

10% off if received by July 4. Drop-deadline July 19.

To say she was popular would be a huge understatement. I think she was the busiest during her time at the event.

One of the nicest as well.

To clarify the mission inscription pricing for Eileen Collins, we will count each mission inscription, including the abbreviated crew position (e.g. "STS-114 CDR"), as just one word, costing $3. If you want the crew position spelled out (e.g. "Commander"), then this will count as an extra word.

Eileen Collins was here yesterday, and signed everything. She's a very nice person, and we spent a pleasant day with her. We'll start shipping today. If you ordered a Photo COA, it will take us a little while to get those made, so please be patient. We'll email customers when their packages are sent.

We were unaccustomed to the high level of penmanship. Eileen was a breath of fresh air!
