Dave and Jason have just announced Alan Bean and Buzz Aldrin for Autographica 20 to be held at the Radisson Hotel, Heathrow, 21-24 March 2014!The Autographica team continues to surprise and delight us all this side of the pond! Well done guys! |

An impressive announcement and the first time, if my memory serves me right, that they have announced guests for the show after next. |

I know that Buzz did a show only six months ago. But, I thought he retired from shows, so seeing this is truly surprising! |

I'm really pleased Alan Bean is coming back. He was he last of the group that attended the show in October 2007 (before I had really been bitten by the space bug) so missed getting something signed, been waiting for him to come back ever since! |

You're not the only one! Part of the "buy it now, it's your last chance" hype from his minder at the last show was that he wouldn't be doing any more shows and prices would escalate. I guess money speaks louder than words.It's great that Dave and Jason have arranged this already but I just wish we could have a little less spin from the wallet-minders. |

Great news about Alan Bean attending Autographica in London. The good part is that this venue is very readily accessible by air. As a disabled traveller, this is a big factor for me and can make the difference between getting there or not. |

Great News! Given the current economic climate, I really hope that Dave and Jason will have struck a good and realistic price structure for Buzz — They have done brilliantly with the guests in September's show... so here's hoping.Also, a huge thanks to both Dave and Jason for landing Al Bean as well, can't wait to meet him again. Also with Autographica 20 being in March next year - does this mean we may have two shows for 2014? I hope so. Thanks again for all your hard work. |

Aaah, Story Musgrave, the first astronaut I ever met and would just love to see him in the UK. Am sure if the Apollo programme ran its course Deke Slayton may have had him for a shot at the moon. |

These were his prices from last years show. Doesn't guarantee anything but it might be a reasonable guide: - Base: £250
- 3D Items, Models Etc: £315
- Beta Cloth Not Flown: £345
- Apollo 11 Completion Armstrong Or Armstrong And Collins: £630
- Books Not Authored By Buzz: £250
- Books Authored By Buzz: £175
- Personalisations Included Free
- Date Inscription: Add £30
- Mission Inscription: Add £30
- Additional Inscription 10 Words Max: £15 Per Word
Buzz will not sign postal covers. |

Look back at those days fondly. More than likely it will be closer to £350, and he will be the busiest person at the show. |

Wow! I really will treasure the one I got, in fact I will put it in a safety deposit box in Fort Knox or inside my wife's knickers, which are even more difficult to get into!Can't afford to get six of those! What do the dinners entail on Friday and do you get chance to meet all the guests? |

- Please bear in mind the show organizers have no control over the astronauts fees. I have tried to talk to some of them at a show I work with, and it's to no avail.
- As someone mentioned, Buzz's prices will be high, and he will have the longest line. So, who's to blame here?
 - Story Musgrave has a particular disdain for charging a fee for his signature and in no way, shape or form, will associate himself with a show like that.
- Schmitt, well, never say never but people with great inroads have tried, and failed.
Sorry to dash anyone's hopes, and no intent to do so. |

Apparently, a friend of mine says that Buzz has been signing his signatures "Edwin Aldrin" recently for a charge more than double what is being quoted here! That would be quite a collector's item however! The moon plaque has his real name. |

His real name is Buzz Aldrin. He had it legally changed in the early 1980s. And unless he's had a change of policy recently (which is possible, of course), he ceased signing "Edwin" for any amount of money several years ago. |

Yeah I'm aware that he changed his name. My friend was at some dinner reception in the UK last week and said Buzz was signing afterwards and people were told that he would sign it "Edwin" but only for a £750 fee! My friend didn't get anything signed but said a few people he talked with got the Edwin signature! |

Two great shuttle guests announced this morning by Showmasters: - Hoot Gibson (STS-41B, 61C, 27, 47, 71)
- Rhea Seddon (STS-51D, 40, 58)
Autographs for both are £25 and photo-shoots £20. |

Agreed!My girlfriend will be heading over for the whole weekend, booked a double room in the hotel for the Friday and Saturday nights yesterday evening. It will be my first time attending the Friday night drinks reception as we've gone for the weekend pass, anyone know what the dress code is for it? |

Not long now until Autographica — the premier event of its kind in the UK. We've booked our room and display space at the Radisson and can't wait for March!Just a word of warning, though: the Radisson is now within the London Emission Zone: check online to see whether your car or van meets the requirements! Ours didn't, so we've hired a brand new Transit for the weekend! |

Isn't anyone getting even a bit excited about this event? It's a month nearer than 'the other' astronaut encounter and offers the fabulous opportunity to meet Mr. and Mrs. Hoot!If you've not booked a room, travel, ticket yet, now's the time! (And no: I have NO financial or friendship ties with the organisers: I just think it's a fabulous event and fear there won't be many similar in the future...) |

Hear hear, David!Flights booked, double room booked, weekend pass booked. My girlfriend and I will be there the whole weekend. My 5th Autographica, her 2nd, and my first time attending the Friday night drinks reception. Very happy with the astronaut lineup so far, although wouldn't complain if there were others added! Looking forward to March and to catching up with you guys as well. |

It's a bit odd with this one, I think over the last couple of years I've got into the habit of thinking of Autographica as an annual event in September/October so I keep forgetting that this one isn't that far away, that said I bought my ticket for the March show the day after the last event so I'm at least prepared from that perspective! |

I'd like to get excited. But with the uncertainty of last minute cancellations by our beloved Apollo guys, I'll delay my joyous exultation until they're here. Better to hope and be pleasantly surprised than have all your expectations dashed. |

Get in! Another Shuttle pilot: Greg Johnson, a two time space shuttle pilot who flew on the second to last space shuttle mission and on the last flight of Endeavour. (STS-123 and STS-134)

I'm thinking that given the great line-up of shuttle astronauts at this event, this might be a good time to start a multi signed shuttle photo, does anyone have any recommendations for what might be a good image to go with? |
