Went to a James Hansen book signing in Dayton
OH last evening. (11/9). Just as an FYI the signing was taped by CSPAN-Books. It is supposed to air in about 10 days. Please log on to CSPANBOOKS.COM and the official air date is supposed to be announced. Mr. Hansen
talked and read a passage from the book for about the first 35 min., then anwered questions for another 15-20 min. (ALL COVERED BY CSPAN) Then he signed for all in attendance. I wish we could have went for a few more hours. Then time went way too fast.

Was Hansen signing multiple books or just one per customer?
Thanks!

Rob: He was signing multiple copies. He is a very nice man. He would actually spend a lot of time talking one on one during the signing process.

Hansen was in Columbus today talking on the radio about how him, Armstrong and Clint Eastwood were at Eastwoods ranch discussing the movie. He said that Eastwood is finishing up his latest movie- but he was unsure if the First Man movie would be his next project. There was a mention that he was signing the book at the historical society in Columbus- (this was removed from the list of booksignings for some reason)
He also spoke of the father of Buzz using his influence in Washington to try and get Buzz on the moon first.

Thanks Kevin! That's useful info as the holidays are approaching!
Jam, I'm imagining Eastwood sitting there with Armstrong. I wonder if he asked Neil what he thought of Space Cowboys and the response!
And more seriously, if Clint asked him if he had any thoughts about who should portray him in the First Man movie...
