Gemini and Apollo astronaut Jim Lovell will be at Novaspace Galleries for an autograph signing in mid-March, 2005. This will be a private signing; no visitors.

Invitations to send items for Lovell's signature were mailed to members of Novaspace Galleries' e-mail list. For more information, contact Novaspace.

(From the Novaspace e-mail: "Jim will NOT be attending any other signings or autograph shows in 2005.")

Just wondering what items people are sending in to Novaspace for this signing.

I was planning to send in a nice Gemini 7 NASA glossy I bought from Apollo Mission Photos and my Shoulder of Titans book, but as I have decided to extend my holiday I am only sending my Shoulders of Titans book this time.

What are you sending ?

I have a picture of Gemini 7 taken by Gemini 6. It is an aft view with great color which has already been signed by Schirra and Stafford.

I hope to add Borman someday.

Dang it! Why did Lovell have to fly in space so many times?!
I have a lot of autographs in Lattimer's book 'All We Did Was Fly To The Moon'.
I managed to get Lovell to sign the Apollo 13 page back in 2001 during the AHOF weekend at KSC, but there's the three other pages to get signed, G-7, G-12 & A-8, plus an 8 X 10.
Don't think I'll be able to get everything signed......donations, anyone?!

Just wondering, anyone else getting the COA-CD with their Lovell signing?
This is my first astronaut signing purchase from Novaspace, and it looks like a great idea!
BTW...I'm having him autograph a NASA photo showing him suiting up on launch day for Gemini 7.

Interesting report there. But I noted:

"as it turns out there are only 4 Apollo-era astronauts that still fly; himself, Gene Cernan, Frank Borman, and John Glenn."

I think Lovell's crewmate Bill Anders would be surprised to hear that! He's still very active.

Kim:
I just wanted to say how pleased I am with your service!
I received my signed Jim Lovell photograph and COA disc as well.
I couldn't have asked for more.
Received e-mail notification 2 days ago that package was shipped.
Package arrived today in perfect condition.
3 photos of Jim (on disc) signing my photo look great!
This is my first astronaut signing from NOVASPACE, and it definately will not be my last.
Thank you very much!!
Sincerely, Tom

I got my stuff back from the Lovell signing today. Kim has taken the art of safely packing a photo to a new high this time. This time I had a plexi-glass insert in the envelope as a stiffener... I had never thought of that!

Wow.... A few days ago I received my inflight coveralls signed by Jim. I have to find someone to host my pictures. Today I received my Earthrise 16*20(earth on the left) and it is awesome. It is inscribed "And God called the firmament heaven". Christmas Eve, 1968. I had Novaspace dry mount the photo and what a superb job they did.
