On Sept. 18, RR Auction will be holding a live auction event at the Omni Parker House in Boston called the "Remarkable Rarity" auction.Live bidding will be available at rrauction.com during the sale or you may request to phone bid when the space-related items are approaching. A handful of high quality space items are included in the auction including: - A flight-ready spare RS-2101 engine for the Viking orbiter.
- A flown Apollo 11 medal #40, from the collection of Command Module Pilot Michael Collins.
- Two highly important double-sided checklist pages carried to the lunar surface on board Apollo 11.
Please be aware, because of the added cost of holding live events, the buyers premium will be 25% for this sale only.On Monday Sept. 15 at 7pm, in memory of our friend Leon Ford, RR Auction will be holding a fundraising event at the Omni Parker House at 60 School Street, Boston, MA 02108. All the proceeds will be donated to the Astronaut Scholarship Foundation. Please let us know if you would like to attend this VIP event. |
