Nate D. Sanders Auction House in Los Angeles has in our current auction an incredibly scarce Apollo 11 flag flown to the moon and signed by Armstrong, Aldrin and Collins.

Additionally up for auction, an Apollo 1 astronauts 10x8 signed photo, Roger Chaffee's 1963 astronaut acceptance letter, Gus Grissom's uniform intended for wear on Apollo 1, and an excellent Mercury 7 signed photo display.

Nate D. Sanders release
Historic Apollo 11 Flag Flown to Moon Sells for Over $63,000 at Nate D. Sanders

A rare American flag, which flew on the historic Apollo 11 first moon landing, was sold by Nate D. Sanders auctions yesterday evening for $63,195, which includes the buyer's premium. It was the second highest total ever paid for a space-flown flag.

Auction owner Nate Sanders said, "Collectors want to feel connected with the historic Apollo 11 mission. They fondly remember watching Neil Armstrong take 'One small step for man, one giant leap for mankind.'"

The flag is mounted to an official NASA certificate reading: "This flag traveled to the Moon with Apollo 11, the first manned lunar landing, July 20, 1969" and is signed by Apollo 11 astronauts, Neil Armstrong, Michael Collins and Buzz Aldrin.
