I wanted to make you aware that RR Auction has a small selection of flown and unflown artifacts in our current monthly offering (ending Feb. 12).

Lot 530 is an amazing framed astronaut portrait collection spanning all the programs. Because the collection is so large, we have produced a downloadable PDF for those interested. The link is located at the bottom on the lot description.

Also, RR Auction is still accepting quality consignments for May 2014 Space Sale. Please contact us today at 800-937-3880.

It's worth noting that lot 530 includes a real mixture of patches mounted alongside the signed material and some of the patches are extremely rare.

Of particular note are the GTA-6 patch accompanying a Schirra ISP and the trimmed Apollo 7 crew patch alongside the Apollo 7 crew autopenned piece. In both these cases the patches are probably worth upwards of $1,000 whilst the lithos are worth maybe $50.

Other notable patches include a Gemini 7 crew souvenir patch, a Gemini 9 crew patch (with tab), and Gemini 10, 11 and 12 crew patches. From the Apollo era there is a very rare Apollo 8 crew souvenir patch, an Apollo 9 crew souvenir patch, an Apollo 10 Texas Art Embroidery patch, as well as Apollo 12 and 13 crew patches.

All times are CT (US)
