The Explorers Club annual dinner, this year being held March 15, includes a silent auction and through Charitybuzz, those unable to attend can still place bids on the items and experiences being offered. (Note: online bidding closes on March 14.)

There are several space-related lots of possible interest to cS'ers:

The Polo Shirt was worn on the STS-73 USML-2 Spacelab mission. Since the mission occurred in 1995, the shirt could not have flown on the ISS.

Good catch... I'll send a note to the Charitybuzz representative who contacted cS about the auction.

On edit: Seems they already caught the error; the lot title was changed to: "Polo Shirt Astronaut Michael Lopez-Alegria wore During Mission STS-73 in 1995."

You know me, Robert! I'm a stickler for details and dates. Even after their edit, they still need to change the description. It still reads: "This is your chance to own a truly one of a kind piece of memorabilia from the International Space Station!"

Okay, I've written Charitybuzz to let them know.
