And we're off! You can now register to bid and view the 60 lots of space autographs, mementos, and astronaut experiences here.

Good luck! Bidding officially opens October 26 at 9 a.m. EDT and ends Saturday, Nov. 3 at 10 p.m. EDT both online and in person at the Apollo 17 event.

The experiences are very good as usual, but the number of great signed and/or flown items is incredible. Dozens and dozens of them, all with nice low opening bids!

Auction has officially opened for bidding! We have 60 lots up for grabs including netting from the Apollo 16 lunar lander, vintage Skylab astronaut boots, a section of the Apollo 13 Command Module couch, a SPACEHAB locker, and more.

Bidding concludes online and in person at the Apollo 17 40th Anniversary & Apollo Program Celebration Dinner in Cocoa Beach on Saturday, November 3.

Please note that the auction ends at 10:30 p.m. EDT; this is a change from 10:00 p.m. for previous auctions.

Good luck!

Yikes! We are currently experiencing technical difficulties with bids. Please standby as we work to quickly troubleshoot the issue. Sorry!

Anyone else notice the major delay with bidding at the end? I submitted a bid approx 30 seconds before the end time and it rejected my bid about 5 seconds after the official end time because the auction had "ended".

Well, the final bid of $24,601 for the shuttle engine model, beat me by $22,500. I just missed it. WOW!!!!!

Why was the rocket engine going for so much?

Does seem odd since another went unsold just the day prior at Heritage. Perhaps some gratuitous bidding between two parties to drive the price up.

In the end, my pockets were not quite deep enough and I was outbid on several "experiences." The Grand Canyon train trip with Dick Gordon would have been a lot of fun.

Thanks for the info. I just made the purchase and saved $300 from my top bid at ASF. A win win for me.

All times are CT (US)
