Auction: 50th anniversary celebration of the Kansas Cosmosphere and Space Center

In conjunction with the Cosmosphere’s Anniversary Celebration, you have the opportunity to bid online now for 21 unique items including several space memorabilia items signed by U.S. Astronauts including Joe Engle, Steve Hawley, Charlie Duke, Buzz Aldrin and others.

Fly with General Joe: Bid on a once in a lifetime experience to fly with one of the nation's most premiere pilots, Astronaut Joe Engle. All bids for Fly With General Joe are being accepted online via this auction website. Bidding for this spectacular once in a lifetime experience will close on Friday, April 27, 2012 at 12 noon. Your purchase and donations will further the Cosmosphere mission of honoring the past and inspiring the future of space exploration, with income directed to the LiftOff Campaign which focuses on: the Carey Dome Theater and Justice Planetarium upgrades, museum artifact preservation and gallery expansion, education development and outreach and, asset protection and revitalization.

The items for sale in the auction are not part of the accessioned Cosmosphere collection and are offered solely for fundraising purposes. Any purchase amount above the stated value is a tax deductible contribution.
