Has anyone consigned to RR Auction? What was your experience regarding consignment and payment? I bought a number of items from them in the past and was very satisfied.
I responded to an RR Auction email soliciting consignments on August 24 and got an acknowledgment that they would review and get back to me. Since then several phone calls and emails to RR Action have had no response. The items seem to be just what RR Auction would want.
The items for consignment included:
Neil Armstrong personalized signed litho
Unpersonalized Apollo 11 crew signed 15th Anniversary also signed by James Beggs with a gold foil NASA logo attached. There were only 50 of these signed.
Apollo 16 crew signed litho
WSS John Young signed litho
WSS Ken Mattingly signed litho
What is RR Auction's reputation as far as payment is concerned? Please advise. Thanks.

David, I've had nothing but positive experiences with R&R.

Payment is pretty prompt especially if you can qualify for the early pay-off. Service is courteous and efficient. My only gripe has been submitting stuff for sale that then gets deferred from the next catalogue for up to three months due to similar items being listed.

No problems at all with RR, who along with Heritage are the best in the business for consignors.
I think they are a little backed up at the moment as I am also waiting on a reply, but am not worried.

Elizabeth at RR Auction has taken care of me. Expect to see some nice items in the October auction. I also got my September Auction catalog in the mail today. Thanks
