Viennafil auction which will be held in Vienna, Austria on 6th and 7th December, 2006.
424 lots comoprise flown rocket mail and space mail. Virtually at least one cover flown on each Schmiedl rocket before WWII is being offered. Many of them were never offered to the public. You will find both Kegel-Trichter-Raketen (Schmiedl flew only 6 postcards on each of these technically very interesting flights, one set is at Swiss postal museum) and a complete set of 5 Wuesten-Raketen (dessert-rockets). There are also flown space mail items starting with Apollo 15 Sieger moon-cover and Soyuz 12 to one of the latest flights to ISS as well as scarce Chinese space mail varieties.
All items offered were examined by experts.
