A photograph by Annie Liebovitz for Vogue shows Elon Musk modeling a SpaceX prototype helmet for the company's Crew Dragon flights.

Elon Musk on Instagram:
First picture of SpaceX spacesuit. More in days to follow. Worth noting that this actually works (not a mockup). Already tested to double vacuum pressure. Was incredibly hard to balance esthetics and function. Easy to do either separately.

Function should outweigh aesthetics. The astronauts would be more concerned with their safety and getting the job done rather than I look marvelous. Its okay to look nice, but don't even think to consider looks over or even on a par with safety.

What is "double vacuum pressure"?

I think vacuum pressure here refers to the pressure generated by having a vacuum on one side, and one atmosphere of pressure on the other.
It sounds like this suit has been tested to double that. It had its internal pressure increased to two atmospheres, so that double the pressure was applied to it. So it was tested at double vacuum pressure.

Looks good, but air hose and electronic communication connections are not shown. Also, are gloves and boots an integral part of the suit, or will there be ring-type connections?

I'd like to see what it looks like when pressurized.

No hose connections that I can see. How do they breathe?
I assume they plan no EVAs, but is there a modern version of a PLSS in the works, just in case?

This is not an EVA spacesuit; it is a pressure suit, in the same family as the Advanced Crew Escape Suit (ACES) worn on the space shuttle or the Sokol worn on Soyuz.
The port for the combined air and power umbilical is located on the right leg.

This video was first shown during the Crew Dragon Demo-2 launch webcast, but SpaceX has now released it as a standalone clip.
SpaceX's space suits are designed for optimum functionality with the Crew Dragon spacecraft.
