I am working on a model of the Telstar-Delta B (aka Thor Delta). My question is on the staging fairings.

On staging between the first to second stage, I believe there are four parts. Are they hinged and retained by the first stage or float away?

On staging between the second to third stage, it seems there is a section that breaks away into numerous parts in their conceptual art. It that correct? And if someone knows, how many parts? Thank you in advance!
