Is there anybody out there have audio recordings of those launches from the late 50s. Either radio or direct. I've heard that tapes of the famous Vanguard Explosion in Dec 57 and the Vanguard launch from March 58 do exist. I do have in my collection the Explorer 1 launch and press conference from 1/31/58. Any help?

This is vague but a gentleman in Iowa was sending a list of early audio tapes he was selling but I do not remember his name. Still some hope... maybe he can be located.

Thanks for letting me know. If anybody finds out let me know. I do have in my own collection thousands of hours of those recordings. I'm looking for anything I don't have.
