I recently attended the Chuck Yeager appearance at the Air & Space in DC, before he talked a video of his life was shown in which there was in flight cockpit footage during his historic flight, like to know if anyone knows if this is posted on the web or available via DVD

Just to be clear, are you talking about cockpit footage from his Mach 1 flight in the XS-1, or from his Mach 2.4 flight and spin in the X-1A? I have seen the latter (will have to do some hunting). Have not seen the former.

I think is was the Mach 1 flight, but if you can find either one that would be great, thanks for your help

Mark Gray of Spacecraftfilms.com and Aircraftfilms.com is working on an X-1 DVD set. It's listed to be released next month, as posted on www.aircraftfilms.com.
