I need help determining which of the pads at Complex 36 are A & B. Spaceflight films great liftoff DVD's have great Atlas footage of AC1 & AC5 at 36A but I don't know which actual pad that is. I guess I should ask which is the North-Easternmost pad and which one is the most South-Westernmost? Or, which one has the longest railway for the Mobile Service Structure to transit? Thanks for your help.

At one time, the umbilical tower on Pad-36B was taller than the one on Pad-36A. When the pads were closed, both umbilical towers were the same height I believe. If Ken Havekotte sees this post, he can enlighten us on this.

LC-36A is the pad which is situated northeast, while 36B is the southwest complex.

All times are CT (US)
